OCR Has Issued Guidance Document Explaining
Significant Aspects of the Privacy Rule
On December
4, 2002, HHS' Office of Civil Rights (OCR) issued a Guidance
Document to further explain the Privacy Rule. OCR is the entity
responsible for the interpretation of and enforcement of the
Privacy Rule.
